Gina Cross was a Black Mesa scientist who first appears as the Holographic Assistant for Gordon Freeman in the Black Mesa 's Hazard Course and then later as one half of the protagonist team involved in the Black Mesa Incident in Half-Life: Decay.
According to one of Half-Life: Decay creators Gina Cross died somewhere in Xen. Colette Green got stuck in the personal collection of a bureaucrat with a suitcase. I stubbornly deny this scenario, but one needs to have a plan in case it turns out to be canon.
Gina invented the HEV Suit. Therefore, HEV has her voice. So here’s another scenario for you: Colette wakes up from stasis to do great things… and then her armor speaks to her using the voice of her deceased girlfriend.
